NEC PC-8201A

The Model 100's big brother

Resources
Almost identical to the Radio Shack model 100, the NEC featured a different (and some say better) arrow key layout. Mine also has a rechargeable battery pack, rather than space for the 4 AA's that the m100 used.

I've got a second one on the way; these things (and the model 100) are so dang useful, I'm always looking for additional machines. I'm currently working (in my copious spare time) on an alphapaging terminal package to use the 8201a and m100 as a dedicated paging station.

NEC's later machine, the PC-8401A, had a name as well: the Starlet. Did the PC-8201A have one as well?
